This post is trending because it highlights South Korea's increasingly complex and challenging diplomatic landscape, caught between the escalating US-China rivalry over Taiwan and other global tensions, leading to frustration among the Korean public.

🇰🇷 KOREAN REACTIONS 10
I think it's time to stop looking at ourselves through this lens. We shouldn't let external perspectives trap us. Especially with the media's excessive 'sadaejuui' (servility to great powers), we need to shift from 'how others see Korea' to 'how Korea sees others.' Only then can we truly pursue our national interests. Whether it's the US, China, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, or the EU, we should speak our minds. In between, we must pursue our national interests and open a better future. Changing how we approach these problems will open new paths for South Korea.
Reading the article, it's full of unverified BS, lol. Who 'gladly accepted' Michelle Park? Her agrément hasn't even been submitted yet, and the Korean-American community in the US is signing petitions to withdraw her nomination!
That's right. The 'Taiwan card' should only be played when we need cooperation from the North. It's a useful card, why give it away for free?
This is why even if the US messes up a hundred times, when you think about China's image, you just scratch your head. Honestly, what kind of international responsibility can 'Wolf Warrior Diplomacy' fulfill when it can't even properly control North Korea? smh.
It seems like the foreign ministry's pro-Japan faction tried to take a stance similar to (Japanese politician) Takaichi, and ended up poking the dragon.
It's just media 'brain-fiction' (뇌피셜, neopisyal) without even fact-checking.
Media outlets like Edaily and News1 have always spun strange narratives, completely detached from right or wrong, or truth. So even if they say beans are made of soybeans, you generally just ignore them.
It's because Taiwan felt uncomfortable first, so we changed it, and this is what happened. Both Taiwan and China need to find a clever way for us to avoid conflict.
I think it's due to the sensitivity of our economic ventures and diplomatic cooperation. We need to sell a lot or buy a lot.
The foreign ministry urgently needs an internal cleanup, IMO.
